A little world from the past on Lake Lugano

Overlooking the Italian shores of Lake Lugano, the villa houses books and artefacts that belonged to the writer Antonio Fogazzaro, who wrote and set his masterpiece “The Little World of the Past” there. Journey into the 19th century through its furniture, paintings and exquisite fine art objects, which recall the places, characters and stories from the famous novel: from the rooms and garden belonging to Franco and Luisa to the dry dock where little Ombretta met her demise.
