Hermes Piano Trio was formed in 2019 by the violinist Ginevra Bassetti, the pianist Marianna Pulsoni and the cellist Francesca Giglio, the Trio soon attracted the attention of the Italian youth music scene.
The Trio has performed in numerous Festival in Italy and abroad, such as Festival dei due Mondi (Spoleto), Società Aquilana dei Concerti “B.Barattelli” (L’Aquila), Liszt Chamber Music Festival (Roma), Amici della Musica di Modena, GoG Giovine Orchestra Genovese (Genova); also they will take part in the next concert’s season of Società del Quartetto (Milano), Festival San Giacomo (Bologna), Festival Delle Nazioni (Perugia).
Absolute prize winners of the European Music Competition Moncalieri (Torino), first prizewinners in Premio Crescendo International Music Competition (Firenze) and third prizewinners in the Odin International Music Competition, the Trio is currently studying his repertoire with Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi at the Conservatorio “A.Boito” in Parma, where obtained the Masters degree in Chamber Music.
The Trio had the opportunity to partecipate in several masterclasses, working with musicians like Evgeny Sinaisky (MUK – Music and Arts Private University in Vienna), Andrea Lucchesini, Adrian Pinzaru, Danusha Waskiewicz and also had lessons with Abel Tomàs, Arnau Tomàs and Jonathan Brown from Cuarteto Casals.
Also, the Trio was selected to join the network of “Le Dimore del Quartetto”.
