Trio Bohémo was founded in 2019. The members of the ensemble are Jan Vojtek, piano, Matouš Pěruška, violin, and Kristina Vocetková, cello.  Despite all members being from the Czech Republic, they only met in Budapest, Hungary and shortly after that decided to form piano trio together.
Since 2020 they have been members of the European Chamber Music Academy, studying under the guidance of professors such as Hatto Beye, Patrik Jüdt, Johannes Meissl, Avedis Kouyoumdjian or Dirk Mommertz. The opportunities provided by the ECMA enabled them to perform at multiple stages across Europe.

After few months following their establishment, they have been awarded 2nd prize at the prestigious Gianni Bergamo Award in Lugano (Switzerland), where they competed with some of the best young European chamber music ensembles. Following this success, they have been selected to join the Le Dimore del Quartetto network. In 2021 they have been selected for the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme. They performed at concert halls such as Nagyterem of Zeneakadémia (Budapest) or TivoliVredenburg (Utrecht).

In the 2020/2021 season, they will give their debut recital in Wigmore Hall and perform at festivals such as Gent Festival van Vlaanderen in Belgium, Kloster Konzerte St. Blasien concert series in Germany or EuroArt Festival in Prague.
During the first lockdown in spring 2020, they organized two successful benefit concerts (for hospitals in Italy and the other for the Caritas Czech Republic). During second lockdown in autumn 2020, they founded online series of performances from home and recorded Christmas concert for retirement homes across the Czech Republic.
