Awarded with the Third Prize of the 20th International Chamber Music Competition “Trio di Trieste”, Quartetto Werther performs regularly for the most prestigious musical institutions and theaters, such as Teatro “La Fenice” di Venezia, Fondazione Perugia Musica Classica, Istituzione Universitaria dei Concerti, Unione Musicale di Torino, Bologna Festival, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Teatro Ristori di Verona, Moscow International House of Music, Teatro Sociale di Como, Festival Nei Suoni dei Luoghi del Friuli, Ritratti Festival di Monopoli, Oratorio del Gonfalone, Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto, Festival Liszt di Albano Laziale, Società Umanitaria di Milano, Festival Pontino di Musica, Fondazione Santa Cecilia di Portogruaro.

The quartet won the A. Burri Prize 2019, promoted by the 52th Festival delle Nazioni, and was awarded with the Second Prize at “Premio Boccherini” in Lucca and “Luigi Nono” Competition in Turin, being also the only Italian ensemble. They also have been awarded for “Città di Magliano Sabina” Competition, “Riviera Etrusca” in Piombino, “G. Rospigliosi” in Lamporecchio. Funded in 2016 under the guidance of Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi, the quartet studied chamber music at Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and at Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” in Parma. In 2018, they participated in the International Chamber Music Campus, organized by Jeunesse Musicale Deutschland, attending classes with Cuarteto Casals, Vivian and Donald Weilerstein. After this, Quartetto Werther has been selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto network.

Their studies leveraged on the precious support of Bruno Giuranna, Luc-Marie Aguera and Patrick Jüdt.
