Formed in 2018 by the Mishkenot Sha’ananim Music Center in Jerusalem, Israel. The members of the quartet are from the finest of Israels young musicians, each of them having initially been selected as a member of the Israel Young Philharmonic Orchestra and the Goldman Chamber Music Program for Excellent Young Musicians. Also, all the members of the quartet are winners of the America-Israel Cultural Foundation competitions, and three of them serve as “outstanding musicians” in the IDF.
The quartet has been working with Prof. Sergei Bresler (violinist in the renowned Jerusalem Quartet) and with Prof. Felix Nemirovsky (Cellist in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra).
As a representative quartet of the Jerusalem Music Center, the quartet, though still young, has performed in several distinguished concerts, including the Y.M.C.A. in Jerusalem, Rappaport Music Hall in Haifa and a Galla Concert in Mishkenot Shaananim Music center.
In 2019, the quartet was invited to take part in the “Zeist Music Days” Festival in Zeist, Netherlands. In the festival they have worked intensively with renowned musicians such as the Jerusalem Quartet, Prof. Alexander Rudin, Mr. Avri Levitan and more, and performed in many concerts.
In 2020, the quartet has been selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto network.
