Le Dimore del Quartetto

Categories ,

The ensemble was founded in 2017 by the students of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in  Warsaw (Poland). Since 2020 they are all students of the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in Vienna (Austria) as well.
They won several of the international chamber music competitions, such as the Quebec International  Music Competition in Canada (1st prize in 2020), the France Music Competition (1st prize 2020), International Moscow Music Competition (1st prize 2020) or the 3rd Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards  International Music Competition in Singapore (1st prize in 2019). Cuore Piano Trio has also been  awarded the 1st prize in the International Music Competition “For Concert Tours to China” in  Denmark (2020), which is going to result in a concert tour in China (2021/2022) consisting of 10 recitals,  where the ensemble is going to perform the Polish composers’ forgotten chamber music masterpieces.
In 2019 Cuore Piano Trio won the “Stage for the Polish Music” programme organised by the Institute  for Music and Dance (one of the leading cultural institutions in Poland), which allowed them to  perform a debut recital in the National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw, as well as in the Świętokrzyska and Warmińsko-Mazurska Philharmonic Halls.
Cuore Piano Trio performs regularly in Poland and abroad (i.a.: Austria, Germany, France or Russia).  They performed an opening recital of the 45. Zenon Brzewski International Music Courses in Łańcut  (PL) in 2019. In 2018 they were invited to represent Poland at the Russian-Polish “Youth Academy of  the Arts” Festival in Russia, where they performed several times in the most prestigious museums of  Moscow.

In 2020 a renowned Polish label DUX Recording Producers released a set of 6 CDs, which present the  unknown Polish music performed by various young Polish artists. Out of all the musicians, Cuore  Piano Trio’s recordings were published in the biggest amount – the works of Franciszek Lessel, Ignacy  Feliks Dobrzyński and Artur Malawski last almost 60 minutes and can be streamed on Spotify, Apple  Music etc. What more, Zuzanna Budzyńska and Szymon Ogryzek (who perform regularly as a duo as  well) recorded two CDs together: “Ars Poetica” was released by the F. Chopin Univ. of Music as  a result of winning the 10. Competition for a Societe Generale Bank Scholarship, while  “POLONAISES” was released by the DUX Recording Producers. It was very well reviewed by  renowned music magazines and platforms (such as PIZZICATO and ResMusica) and is very often  broadcasted on international radios. As a result of recording this CD Budzyńska and Ogryzek were  awarded the prestigious “Coryphaeus of the Polish Music” Prize in the “Discovery of the Year”  category in 2019.

Zuzanna Budzyńska, Jadwiga Roguska and Szymon Ogryzek are scholarship holders of the Polish  Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Polish Prime Minister, the Centre for Artistic Education  and others. They have been awarded the Rector of the F. Chopin Univ. of Music in Warsaw  scholarship for the best students multiple times.
All the musicians are active soloists as well. They regularly take part in masterclasses led by the world  class professors, such as Jan Jiracek von Arnim (piano; Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst  Wien), Jens Peter Maintz (cello; Universität der Kunste Berlin), Sergey Kravchenko (violin; Moscow  Tchaikovsky Conservatory) or Michael Flaksman (chamber music; Staatliche Hochschule für Musik  und darstellende Kunst Mannheim).
In 2021, the Trio has been selected to join Le Dimore del Quartetto network.
