The Alba Music Festival is a highlight of the Northern Italian cultural season. Founded in 2004 and directed by M° Giuseppe Nova, the Festival is a magical place where one can encounter international musicians and artists while enjoying the singular richness of this extraordinary place. The Alba region (Langhe-Roero and Monferrato) has received the UNESCO World Heritage designation in 2014. Concerts are presented in the most prestigious venues of the city and region, ranging from the magical atmosphere of the Cathedral to the intimate spaces of the Baroque churches San Giuseppe and Coro della Maddalena, in the ancient San Domenico church and St. Paul temple, and throughout the region in its majestic castles.
The Campus Center of Alba Musical Festival is part of Le Dimore del Quartetto network. Musicians are hosted in one of the touristic accommodations of the region, while the Campus can be used as main center for study and rehearsals. The concerts, that the musicians offer in exchange of the hospitality, will be part of the Festival and performed in one of its beautiful locations.
