The second stage of MUSA in Portugal
Innovative training course in the music sector in Portugal: Cross-fertilization among the arts curated by experimentadesign.
The string quartets selected to partecipate to the MUSA – European young MUsicians soft Skills Alliance programme in Portugal, from October 24th to 30th, are Alinea Quartet, Antarja Quartet, Belinfante Quartet and Quatuor Malinconia. They will have the opportunity to live a week of residency, professional training and concerts at the National Palace of Mafra and at the MAAT Museum of Lisbon.
The program focuses on the relationship between sound and space with architecture, light design and public performances, product design and the creation of musical instruments, interconnections between classical music and contemporary art, graphic design and communication, sound design, new sound applications and possibilities through cinema, theatre, performance and art.
These activities are conducted by designers, graphic designers, contemporary artists, architects and professionals in the field of scenography.
