QUARTETTI PER LAURA
The Comitato Laura Dubini and the Fondazione Corriere della Sera remember Laura, 10 years after her death, through a series of concerts performed by young string Quartets in meaningful venues in Milan.
The objective is promoting young excellent musicians and chamber music in a way that is more easily accessible to a wide public, and not only to specialists. The project aims to enhance music and the Italian cultural heritage, by creating new meeting opportunities in venues that are unusual for concerts. This would shorten the distance that currently exists between the wide public and a music genre defined “highbrow”, making it understandable to everyone.
