Kindly supported by Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds, they are currently Quartet in Residence at the Netherlands String Quartet Academy in Amsterdam.
They have performed at festivals throughout Europe including the String Quartet Biënnale in Amsterdam, International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht, the Grachtenfestival and the Tiberius Festival in Romania. Recent engagements include performances for NPO Radio 4, TivoliVredenburg and the Spiegelzaal of the Concertgebouw, where they were also broadcast live on NPO Radio 4. They have also performed live on the Dutch television show Podium Witteman. Upcoming appearances will include a live radio recital for Radio 4’s ‘Avondconcert’, a concert in Concertgebouw Amsterdam and a national tour performing Haydn’s Seven Last Words over Easter time 2021.

BRERA MUSICA | THE PROJECT
Brera/Musica is an innovative interdisciplinary project created by the Brera Gallery to explore the relationship between the visual arts and music, integral part of the academic, intellectual and artistic dimension’s development of the artworks at Pinacoteca.
This offer renovates and enriches itself starting from January 20th until September 2022 thanks to the collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto. The initiative, curated by Clive Britton, is composed of one online concert on the third Thursday of every month, available online from 6 pm on Pinacoteca di Brera’s website. Every performance is accompanied by an artwork of the Pinacoteca, from which the musicians take inspiration.
The appointments of 2022 will see young ensembles of Le Dimore del Quartetto’s network coming from different countries and selected by the artistic director Simone Gramaglia, violist of Quartetto di Cremona.
