One thousand years of history in a family home
Casa Campatelli is an 18th century residence in the town of San Gimignano, which incorporates one of the town’s famous medieval towers. An upper-middle class residence in the 19th and 20th centuries, the house through the furniture, interior decor and paintings retraces and tells the memoirs, atmosphere and events of a typical Tuscan family and a society from a bygone era. All this is set against the backdrop of a long history spanning millennia and narrated through digital technology, which takes you back to the origins of the myth of San Gimignano and Toscana and offers an insight into the town.
