Le Dimore del Quartetto

The original nucleus of the Tenuta La Fiscala dates back to the first half of the XVI century, under the Sappa Inviziati family, one of the founders of the city of Alessandria. The name “Fiscala” (“fisco” means taxes in Italian) is ascribed to Antonio Maria Sappa’s appointment as tax lawyer of the city by Ferdinando Gonzaga in 1549. It was then rebuilt and hosted the King Carlo Alberto’s headquarters since 1849, and finally was purchased by the Morandi family which currently owns it.
Nowadays the Tenuta has suggestive halls and gardens, ideal for weddings, events and exhibitions. Courts and basement rooms are scenographic venues for tasting and concerts, immersed in the nature.
