Quartetto Eridàno was born in 2016 within the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Turin under the guidance of Claudia Ravetto and Manuel Zigante and obtained in 2020 the Academic Diploma of II level in chamber music with the highest marks.

He perfected his skills with Quartetto di Cremona at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, with Adrian Pinzaru (Delian Quartet) at the Academy of Music in Pinerolo and with Antonello Farulli at the “Incontri col Maestro” Academy in Imola. The musicians regularly attend courses at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena with Clive Greensmith (Tokyo Quartet) and in 2021 they have been admitted to the International Chamber Music Campus organized by Jeunesse Musicale Deutschland held by Cuarteto Casals, Günter Pichler and Heime Müller. In 2019 the quartet was selected to join the network of Le Dimore del Quartetto.

He deepened his study of the repertoire with several teachers including Lukas Hagen, Christophe Giovaninetti, Simon Rowland Jones, Oliver Wille, Simonide Braconi, Simone Bernardini, Christa Butzberger and with the Adorno Quartet. 

In 2021, the quartet won the Musikstrasse prize at the Campus delle Arti competition and was among the finalists in the “Pietro Marzani” String Quartet Competition in Rovereto. In 2019 he was selected by the Quartetto di Venezia for a Workshop on the Bártok and Malipiero quartets, for which he was awarded a scholarship by the Giorgio Cini Foundation of Venice. In 2016 t quartet was awarded at the European Music Competition. 

Quartetto Eridàno carries out an intense concert activity that has led them to perform at various venues and festivals including MiTo, Palazzo Carignano in Turin, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, the Reggia di Venaria, the Palazzo Reale in Turin, the Historical Archives of the city of Turin, Teatro Baretti in Turin, the season of the Accademia Perosi in Biella, the season of the Associazione Jervolino in Caserta, the Accademia della Voce del Piemonte.
