The Accademia Filarmonica Romana is a musical institution based in Rome, Italy. It was established in 1821 by a group of noble amateur musicians in orde to perform chamber music and symphonies, as well as censored operas like Moses in Egypt by Rossini.
It was recognized firstly by the Papal States and then by the Savoia monarchy which assigned to the Accademia the musical part of official State’s ceremonies and royal funerals. Nowadays it’s a private non-profit organization, recognized by the President of Italy in February 1969.

The Accademia Musicale Chigiana was founded in 1932 at the behest of Count Chigi Saracini, the patron and music lover who instituted master classes in music in Siena, offering hospitality in his own home to prestigious, world-famous teachers and to students coming from every continent. Thanks to its particular origins and the model of culture and of valuing and promoting music that it has represented in the past century and continues to represent, the Academy is internationally recognized still today as one of Italy’s most prestigious musical institutions.

Founded in 1985, Accademia Stauffer is one of the most prestigious Italian musical institutions, an international reference point for the high-level training of string instrumentalists (violin, viola, cello, double bass), in solo, chamber and orchestral music.

The Academy selects young musicians of extraordinary talent from all over the world, offering them an opportunity to enter an exclusive path of artistic and professional growth.

The teaching staff of Accademia Stauffer brings together some of the most established and appreciated Italian and international artists, together with specialized chamber ensembles, from baroque to contemporary.

Stauffer offers an integrated and diversified educational program, based on the excellence of the great Italian musical school and in connection with the best international training experiences.

The Academy provides annual advanced courses held by Salvatore Accardo (violin), Bruno Giuranna (viola), Antonio Meneses (cello), Franco Petracchi (double bass) and Quartetto di Cremona, an annual professional course for first violin, held by the first parts of the most important European orchestras, master classes and residency programs, carried out in collaboration with some of the most prestigious international academic institutions.

The Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti, charitable trust since 1948, has been founded in 1919 with the aim of making known the ancient Italian music, which in that period, was becoming popular again among those people sensitive to culture. 

In fact, not only musicians, such as Emilia Gubitosi, Franco Michele Napolitano, Vincenzo Vitale and Giovanni Tebaldini, but also writers and people of culture, such as Salvatore Di Giacomo and Maria De Sanna, founded the Scarlatti.

Two cultural traditions are at the core of the Associazione Amici della Musica di Padova: that of the Società Bartolomeo Cristofori – the concert society of the Istituto musicale Pollini, founded in 1920 – and the more recent tradition of the Centro d’Arte degli Studenti of the University of Padua, created in 1945.
In 1924, the opera Pierrot Lunaire was performed by Schoenberg in Padua. Some major composers came over Padua, such as Pizzetti, Casella, Dallapiccola, Hindemith and Stockhausen.
In 1952 started the activity of the Amici della Musica, which has been institutionalised in 1957 absorbing the Società Bartolomeo Cristofori and the concert society of the Istituto musicale Pollini. The main activity of the association is the music season that previously took place in the historic hall Sala dei Giganti al Liviano and that now is organised every year in the Auditorium Pollini of the conservatory of Music of Padua.

Established at the end of May 2000, the Associazione Idea Valcerrina – with headquarters in Piancerreto, a hamlet of the Municipality of Cerrina – is a socio-cultural association aiming at promoting the knowledge of music, literature and figurative arts, environmental protection, local traditions and natural beauty.

The Associazione Lingotto Musica has been founded in 1997 and its roots are to be found in the re-use for musical purposes of the industrial building called Lingotto.

The association organises the symphonic season of  “Concerti del Lingotto”, which takes place in the Auditorium Giovanni Agnelli, designed by architect Renzo Piano, and the chamber music concert series “Giovani per tutti” in the Sala Cinquecento.

Associazione Musicale Lucchese organizes more than 150 events every year among concerts of chamber and symphonic music, conferences, concerts for children. Since 2015 it promotes the Lucca Classica Music Festival.

The AML was founded in 1964 on the initiative of a group of intellectuals and of women and men of culture, including Arrigo Benedetti, Gino Arrighi, Herbert Handt, Maria Luisa Orlando, Augusto Mancini, Vittorio Emanuele Velardi, the musicologist Robbins Landon, Maria Pacini Fazzi, Bruno Evangelisti, Albertina Castoldi and others, who stimulated by the foresight of M° Handt wanted to create an association that would promote the musical excellence of the Luccan heritage. A cultural tendency that brought to 50 years of uninterrupted activity, with over 1400 concerts and events and the organization of musical seasons od international level.

The association was founded in 1957 with the aim of offering to the public chamber, instrumental and vocal music concerts. Its first president was Mr. Letterio Bevacqua and among the founding members there was Maurizio Arena, who later became one of the most acclaimed Italian orchestra directors. Ever since it was born, the association has offered high-quality concerts, giving an important growth possibility to young interpreters, even local ones, and presenting at the same time musicians and singers of exceptional international value such as Nikita Magaloff, Severino Gazzelloni, Tito Schipa, Gino Bechi, Nicola Rossi Lemeni.
During the last ten years the activity of the Bellini, under the guidance of Antonio Alì before Giuseppe Ramires’ from 2008, has always been extremely remarkable, with interesting proposals both in the chamber field, in ballet, in jazz and in folk music. The Bellini promotes various musical languages with balance and artistic taste, including the contemporary Italian and European repertoire, experimental projects by young composers, ethnic music, interaction forms between arts, jazz. Always pursued with an eye on the classical tradition.

Mantua Chamber Music Orchestra was founded in 1981 and its brilliant technique, together with a deep research in terms of sound and styles. In 1997, the orchestra as awarded as best chamber ensemble with the renowned “Franco Abbiati” Award, assigned by Italian musical critics «for its sensitivity and attention to different styles and for its continued research of sound that guarantees the highest match between Italian instrumental tradition and classical repertoire».

The seat of the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova is the Teatro Bibiena di Mantova, authentic architectural and acoustic jewel.

The Association was born to safeguard and convey the moral heritage of the Maestro Farulli, Viola of the Quartetto Italiano. The Association is promoted by Adriana Verchiani Farulli together with a group of friends, musicians and ex students of the Maestro Piero Farulli.  It supports all initiatives with the aim of spreading the passion for classical music.

A new recording studio and creative retreat set in the spectacular landscape of the North York Moors National Park. Ayriel Studios offers the perfect mix of inspiration and creativity. An immersive experience with excellent acoustics, tranquillity, and hospitality. 

Bachcelona Foundation, known as BZM Foundation from 2013 to 2020, is the institution organising and managing the Bachcelona Festival.
It is a non-profit organisation which, within the framework of the Bachcelona Festival, promotes participative events and dissemination activities, likewise supporting young talents and promoting interactions with such prestigious artists as Ton Koopman or Shunske Sato. These experiences allow young musicians to enter professional circuits which would otherwise be very difficult for them to access. With these same goals in mind, the Salvat Bach Grant – a project now enjoying widespread prestige – was created in 2014.
Moreover, with the will to share its passion with other fields of artistic endeavour, Bachcelona Foundation cooperates each year with an acknowledged visual artist, who creates the Festival’s graphic identity. We have already worked with such renowned figures as Tom Carr, Marta Montcada, Perico Pastor, Carme Miquel, Susana Solano and Perejaume.
This work is possible thanks to the efforts of all the collaborating institutions and organisations, and above all to those individuals and enterprises who, with their voluntary contributions, help to make this project a reality.
In the course of the 8 years of activity of the Bachcelona Festival, it has held over 50 participative activities and over 150 concerts, (events involving different organisations of the city and presenting innovative formats), and it has managed over 25 grants for young soloists.

Borletti-Buitoni Trust is an english organization that supports great musicians from all over the world in launching and developing their careers, by awarding three kind of prices (“BBT Awards”, “BBT Fellowships” e “Special Awards”). Le Dimore del Quartetto is one of the figures which BBT invites to nominate a young ensemble for consideration; the winner is then selected by the Artistic Committee of the organization on a merit-based way.

In September 2013, at the time of liquidation of the Jugokoncert, Ljubisa Jovanovic initiated the founding of the Belgrade Artistic New Territory Festival (BUNT). In addition to the extraordinary reaction of the broad audience, the festival has got the City of Belgrade Award for Improving Musical and Cultural Life in Belgrade  (2013) as well as the “Classical Music Review Award” for best Festival in Serbia (2019) and encounters exceptional reactions and critiques of the professional public.

A musical, educational, scientific and cultural initiative of a kind never before seen in Europe. Designed, created and driven by Jorge Chaminé, the CEM aims to become a crossroads of the arts, humanities, sciences and generations. It will thus celebrate music as a universal language at the heart of Europe’s identity and humanistic values. The CEM is located in Bougival, a town at the heart of the Impressionists’ Hill, and set in landscaped grounds connecting the villa of Pauline Viardot, dacha of Ivan Turgenev and house of Georges Bizet, homes to three of 19th century Europe’s finest creative minds. The vast estate will house a number of new buildings dedicated to higher education, transmission and interdisciplinary exchanges in the field of music. The CEM is scheduled to open by 2023, and will quickly offer a rich programme of recitals, concerts, operatic performances, conferences, artist residencies and masterclasses. It will also host an intergenerational residence and a laboratory dedicated to research on the connection between music and the brain. Under the impulse of France’s President Emmanuel Macron, with support from the government, local authorities and European institutions, the CEM aims to take up the challenges of the 21st century by upholding values of togetherness and sustainable development.

The Associazione Piero Farulli, promoted by Adriana Verchiani Farulli together with a group of friends, musicians and ex students of the Maestro, was created to preserve and hand down the moral legacy of Piero Farulli. For this reason, it supports any initiative aimed at disseminating love for classical music, critical knowledge and the active practice of the same.

With the aim of supporting young musicians, the Piero Farulli Association offers the access to high-quality instruments made available by Adriana Verchiani Farulli and by private collectors who believe in their mission.

The Adriana Verchiani Farulli Collection can count on six violins and seven violas.

One of the most famous and appreciated Italian violin makers of the last century, Dante Regazzoni has always remained far from the worldly scene, dedicating himself with meticulousness and passion to his work in the tranquility of the workshop in Cortenova (LC), now on display at the Auditorium Parco della Musica – Rome, together with the viola prized by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Gold Medal of the Accademia S. Cecilia in 1956.
For him, making instruments was a continuous research, the main stages of which were certainly the meetings with Peter Tàtar, Ferdinando Galimberti, Gioacchino Pasqualini and the brothers Giacomo and
Leandro Bisiach, with whom he worked until the very end.

The association can count on two violins and a cello that the sisters Regazzoni, daughters of the luthier Dante Regazzoni (1916-1999) wish to bring to life, making them available to talented young musicians.

The collection includes some marvellous instruments that a member of the Bisiach family is glad to keep alive by handing them over to us. Six violins and a viola of Giacomo Bisiach, a great luthier, last of a dynasty of master luthiers from the highest classical italian tradition. In particular, Giacomo Bisiach, was not only renowned for its ability to varnish and restore the instruments but was also a fine artisan in the construction of new ones. He was active in Milan for over forty years, until 1972, working with his father Leandro junior.

The Comitato AMUR was born in May 2020 from the desire to bring together some of the most important Italian institutions operating in the classical music sector in a single body, with the aim of promoting common activities and objectives. The Committee wants to enhance the concert planning of its members through shared communication tools, but also to create collaboration and project opportunities, and participate in international networks.

Preceded by the five-year experience of the Rete Amur, the Committee is formed by proposing itself as a propulsive and proactive force, for a concrete and national response to the cultural life. The value of creating a system, which has always united the institutions involved, is transformed into a common commitment: the institutions of classical music, aware of their moral responsibility and cultural heritage to be handed down to the new generations, intend to stimulate further adhesions and as many virtuous unions in Italy and abroad, and at the same time relaunch classical music concerts in the country.

The importance of creating a stable and unique collaboration between entities with such experience and representativeness of the territory is accompanied by the desire to extend the participation to other musical institutions spread throughout the country with similar characteristics and which share the aims of the committee. 

Da Vinci Publishing is an independent publisher of music recordings and scores. It was founded in 2015 in Osaka, Japan, by Edmondo Filippini. Since that year, it established a rich catalogue of both printed music and recordings, focusing in particular on the Classical and Jazz repertoires.

It began as a small-sized reality, and its beginning are dedicated to contemporary music: the Society’s project started with a first publication dedicated to the acousmatic music by Biagio Putignano. From that moment, and almost immediately, the Da Vinci catalogue opened itself to large-scale productions, including the complete recording of Bach’s keyboard works and the complete recording of Mozart’s and Beethoven’s Keyboard on period instruments. The Society established partnerships leading it, within a short time, to the publication of approximately 150 recordings and 200 scores every year.

IItalia Music Lab is the new hub created by SIAE to support young Italian music creators. Since 2022, it partners with Equaly, born in 2021, it is the first Italian organization that promotes gender equality in the music business. Italia Music Lab and Equaly share the need to build a more representative and inclusive music industry.

Fazioli Pianos has been producing grand and concert grand pianos since 1981, when the company was founded by the engineer and pianist Paolo Fazioli.

The Fazioli Concert Hall season, launched in 2005, highlights the continuous and privileged contact of the FAZIOLI Company with the most renowned artists of the international concert scene, as well as the promotion of young artists – a dear aspect for FAZIOLI. Indeed, specifically for the pianists of the new generation FAZIOLI has conceived the new “Winners” concert series, dedicated to the winners of the most renowned piano competitions.
All concerts are open to the public and the season draws a national as well as international audience, with a major positive impact on the local cultural development.

Founded in 1921, the Filarmonica Laudamo is the most ancient Sicilian concert society and the seventh of Italy.
Characterised by the high quality of its artistic programming, in 1930 it received financial support by the prestigious Reale Accademia d’Italia, which has been confirmed yearly in the 30s and 40s.
After the second World War, the programming, that was focused exclusively on chamber music, opened up to the symphonic repertoire, to dance and musical theatre.

The Monzino House has been active since 1750 in the production and distribution of musical instruments. This long tradition has made the five Monzino brothers feel the strong responsibility to make available to the community the experience, the competence and the knowledge acquired by the family in the music field.
The family and the Antonio Carlo Monzino Foundation are committed in “spreading the learning of music from childhood, as an irreplaceable training component in our education due to the key function that musical practice can play in the cognitive and behavioral development of a person.”

Among the projects of the Antonio Carlo Monzino Foundation worth mentioning there is “Adotta uno strumento“. Young musicians selected for their talent are given for free an ancient instrument from the Monzino Collection. The aim of “Adotta uno strumento” is twofold: to give new voice to the instrument and guarantee a continuous cultural and professional growth to young artists guaranteeing them a long-term loan.

The Fondazione I Teatri di Reggio Emilia was created in 2002.
Its activity consists of six seasons part of different performing arts: Opera, Concerts, Dance, Prose, and so on. It organises also the Festival Aperto, dedicated to contemporary music and dance intertwined with art, literature and technologies, the international competition for string quartets “Premio Paolo Borciani”, as well as numerous exhibitions, activities for schools and conferences.

In order to carry on this extensive activity, the Foundation has a unique theatrical system: three different and stunning theatres are located on a square at the heart of the city. The Teatro Municipale Romolo Valli is the classic theatre for the Italian opera, where they organise seasons of opera, concerts and musicals.
The Teatro Ariosto hosts mainly the prose.
The Teatro Cavallerizza is dedicated to the contemporary arts.

Founded in 1987 and established as a Foundation in 2002, Musica Insieme is now one of the leading music societies in Italy. The Concerti di Musica Insieme season, now in its thirttieth anniversary, has established itself as one of the most important in Italy for the quality of the musicians and artistic choices, emerging as one of the programs with the greatest number of seasonticket holders in Italy. From the beginning, important artists have topped the bill (including Pollini, Sollima, Baremboim, Kissin, Lupu, Maisky, Zimerman, Gutman), as well as debuting some of the best talent to have risen to international prominence by winning important competitions.

At the heart of the Foundation is passion, admiration, diffusion, and production of classical music. It is a precious patrimony, like all other high forms of culture – from Shakespearean Theatre to the Sistine Chapel – that we must keep alive, protect and hand down to future generations.
Umbria counts a large presence of ancient festivals and a famous society of concerts. Italy’s central region is a fertile land for culture for many of our Foundation’s projects. Projects. Our Foundation’s program relies on high quality research. The proposal of our Foundation is inspired by the research of quality programs for out concerts: the musical languages could vary, as could our audiences, but the quality is never sacrificed.
The Foundation, even given its role of mediator between the local public and the national and international music world, promotes local musicians, who contribute to supporting a strong voice in the musical scene.

The main goal of the Gioventù Musicale d’Italia is that of supporting young musicians in their professional activity, with particular focus on the transition from school to the labour market. Gioventù Musicale d’Italia also aims at disseminating music, as an expression of human feeling, and works for compensating the lack of musical studies in the national education system.

Jeunesses Musicales (JM) Germany is the German section of JM International. The latter was founded in Brussels during the Second World War with the aim of fostering understanding and peaceful international encounter of young musicians. Active in more than 50 countries across the globe, JM International is reckoned to be the world’s largest organization for youth and culture. Weikersheim, entitled “JM World Meeting Center” is a meeting point for young musicians from all over the world.

La Ferme de Villefavard in France’s Limousin region is a superb recording venue endowed with outstanding acoustics. It is located in the magnificent Limousin countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. This unique, serene environment offers musicians the peace of mind necessary for their artistic and recording projects in the best environment imaginable, which provides an ideal setting for deep concentration, total immersion in work and creative activity. The building, a converted granary originally built at beginning of the last century, was renovated by the architect Gilles Ebersolt, and owes its exceptional acoustics to Albert Yaying Xu, an acoustician of international renown whose most noteworthy projects include the Cité de la Musique in Paris, the Beijing Opera, La Grange au Lac in Evian and the forthcoming Philharmonic Hall in Luxembourg. La Ferme de Villefavard is supported by the Ministry of Culture/DRAC of Limousin as well as the Regional Council of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Department of Haute-Vienne and the Community of commune of Haut Limousin en Marche.

Proquartetto has set out to promote the art of string quartet, by organising an annual festival named Les Voix intimes – after Jean Sibelius’ Voces Intimae quartet. Other activities of the association include the organization of symposia and conferences, masterclasses and training programs for students from Royal Conservatories and Music Academies, the publication of pedagogical and musicological books, the support of young quartets and the revival, through recordings, of a repertoire of quartets by Belgian composers whose names have been or are about to be forgotten.
Thanks to its well-balanced programme, which combines tradition and modernity, Les Voix Intimes Festival has established itself in Belgium as the “rendez-vous” for string quartet lovers. We have given it a European dimension, but we also try to invite quartets from all over the world and to welcome young ensembles from different nations, allowing the public to discover them in an atmosphere that is conducive to the revelation of their talent. Les Voix Intimes is also an educational environment, where future professionals as well as amateurs can meet and work with each other. It is a unique opportunity to bring together true lovers of this marvellous art, young and not-so-young, in the hands of the best artists in their field, giving the benefit of their experience to one another, in a spirit of exchange and generosity.
A new project born in the orbit of the festival is the Proquartetto International String Quartet Composition Competition. The aim of this competition is to enrich the modern string quartet repertoire and to encourage composers to tackle this prestigious and demanding genre of chamber music.

The Lofoten Chamber and Piano Festival presents every second week of July around 15-20 artists from the international arena. With the spectacular sceneries of the famous Lofoten Islands as background, people from all over the world meet to celebrate Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and many other classical masters in picturesque churches and small concert halls.

Since 1976, the Fondazione Museo del Violino Antonio Stradivari – formerly the Ente Triennale – has been protecting and promoting the value of classic and contemporary violin making in Cremona, through competitions, exhibitions, conferences, publications, congresses and concerts.

The constant engagement with research and the rediscovery of the great craftsmen of the past and their work is translated into the management and organization of the Museo del Violino at an everyday level and, every year in the autumn, into the preparation of exhibitions of historical violin making able to catalyse international attention thanks to their scientific importance and new content.

The heirs of the great maestros are the artisans of today. Since 1976, the foundation has organized the “Antonio Stradivari” International Triennial Competition, often known as the Olympics of Violin Making, a prestigious opportunity for the world’s best instrument makers to compare their work.

The North York Moors Chamber Music Festival celebrates and explores great collaborative music, within the context of a magnificent National Park.

Passionate about breaking down barriers and making music accessible to everyone, they have developed a strong reputation for bringing communities and artists together, promoting culture through the medium of friendship.

The Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore was founded by the Florentine Republic in 1296 with the participation of the city’s ecclesiastical authorities to oversee construction of the new cathedral and its bell tower.

The Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore promotes, organises and sponsors initiatives of a cultural nature such as concerts and other musical events, conferences, study seminars, exhibitions, and traditional folkloric events, and special openings of the monuments in its care to mark particular occasions. Some of these initiatives have become such regular occurrences that they are now permanent fixtures in Florence’s cultural calendar. These recurrent events have always been accompanied by other cultural initiatives ranging from events of the greatest international importance to initiatives aimed at a broader audience, frequently reviving ancient traditions, alongside more academic and scholarly occasions designed to promote the furtherance of knowledge and research. In short, the Opera promotes a broad, multi-faceted cultural programme designed to meet a wide range of requirements and interests for local residents and visitors alike.

The Cité de la musique – Philharmonie de Paris is a national public institution dedicated to musical performance, transmission and education. It comprises four concert halls, the Musée de la musique, the Orchestre de Paris, temporary exhibition spaces, educational facilities, a media library, and rehearsal rooms.
Each season, the Cité de la musique – Philharmonie de Paris presents some 500 concerts and three temporary exhibitions. It is also home to four resident ensembles, organises a vast range of educational activities, and coordinates the nationwide Démos youth orchestra programme. Its mission is to bring music to new and broader audiences by promoting equal access for all to different forms of music.

The Foundation La Società dei Concerti organizes the Antonio Mormone International Prize with the aim of discovering and promoting young artists in the spirit and with the ideals of its founder.

The Prize is awarded every four years and is alternately assigned to young pianists and violinists from all over the world between the age of 18 and 28.

The innovative selection methods, providing two years of concerts all over the world with the use of travelling jurors listening incognito some performances of the candidates, the final suite of concrete opportunities provided to the winner and the prestigious setting, make the Antonio Mormone International Prize a unique event.

The first edition has been entirely dedicated to the piano. On 11 July 2021 with the final evening at Teatro alla Scala, the prize was awarded to Ying Li, a Chinese resident of the United States, who, thanks to the Mormone Prize, has begun an international concert career.

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, with support from the Region of Lombardy and the Cariplo Foundation, the first edition of Antonio Mormone Prize was awarded the Medal of the President of the Republic and that of the President of the Senate.

The second staging of the Antonio Mormone Prize, open to young violinists, is scheduled for 2024/2025. The Honorary Chairman is Evgeny Kissin; the President of the Honor Committee is Dr. Gianni Letta.

Pro Corda is the only youth music organisation in the UK providing a continuous and progressive programme of education through the medium of chamber music and ensemble training from age 5 to 24. Pro Corda is the only full-time chamber music school in Europe to have a year-round site dedicated to chamber music education – the stunning 14th century Leiston Abbey on the Suffolk coast.  Pro Corda also offers provision throughout the UK, including a ground-breaking and life changing programme for children with disabilities and special educational needs – all drawing on the core principles of chamber music and ensemble training.

All Pro Corda courses employ leading international artists and musicians at the forefront of their fields.Pro Corda’s site at Leiston Abbey incorporates 3 performance venues: The Guesten Hall built into the old Guest Accommodation of the Abbey, the Barn Concert Hall, and the Lady Chapel in the Abbey grounds which has been converted into a stunning chamber performance venue.

Each season, the Cité de la musique – Philharmonie de Paris presents some 500 concerts and three temporary exhibitions. It is also home to four resident ensembles, organises a vast range of educational activities, and coordinates the nationwide Démos youth orchestra programme. Its mission is to bring music to new and broader audiences by promoting equal access for all to different forms of music.

Since 30 years, ProQuartet has contributed to the influence of the string quartet, supported the entire chamber music community, and expanded the audiences that are interested in it.
An incubator of artists of excellence, ProQuartet works to introduce young chamber music ensembles in four key areas: concert production and distribution, training, creation and cultural action.

The Joseph Károlyi Foundation organizes each year in the Károlyi stately home in Fehérvarcsurgo, historic building built in 1844, the European string quartet festival, Quartettissimo.
Launched in 2010 with ProQuartet, Paris, the aim of this Festival is the development of classic music culture in Hungary – outside the capital Budapest – and specifically the string quartet music, to attract younger audience toward less known musical practices and foster young musicians’ international contacts, as each year this festival invites foreign artists and lecturers. The aim is also to contribute to restore the great Hungarian string quartet tradition.
Among the activities and events: a “day of quartets” for schools, free public rehearsals, an exhibition of string quartets instruments and free concerts in the churches of the village.

Salastina invites listeners to join with composers, musicians, and artists to celebrate the beauty of the past and present, and to carry it into the future with a spirit of inclusiveness. Founded in 2010 by violinists Kevin Kumar and Maia Jasper White, Salastina works with a roster of Resident Artists and special guests.
With an eye towards modernizing the culture around classical music, Salastina presents seven pairs of live concerts annually in proprietary formats, plus additional special events. True to the spirit of chamber music, Salastina performs in intimate, comfortable venues of acoustic and aesthetic beauty in Pasadena, West Los Angeles, and Orange County.
Every Tuesday for over two years, Salastina has produced free, weekly Happy Hours on Zoom. Each Happy Hour features musical performances, a peek behind the creative curtain, and personal interaction with musicians and fellow music lovers. Past guests include Hilary Hahn, Chris Thile, Alan Menken, film composers, musician-scientists, art docents, and more.
Since June of 2020, Salastina musicians and Young Artists have performed thousands of hours of private, virtual bedside concerts for patients, their families, and medical staff in UCLA’s ICU. Salastina’s apprenticeship program, Sounds Promising, is uniquely committed to young musicians’ professional development. The program is designed for young musicians and composers between the ages of 18 and 30 and offers full scholarships to all participants.

The Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale was founded in 1986 on a pilot project of the European Union with the aim of creating a high-level instrumental training and guiding the artistic-musical professionals into the job market.

In 2008 the School was transformed into a Foundation with the aim of promoting and enhancing the musical culture and contributing to the development of the cultural network in the area where the school is located. In almost thirty years of activities, the APM School has gained experience in higher education in the fields of music and technology, often implementing pioneering projects thanks to which it has specialized thousands of young people from all over the world, encouraging their inclusion in internationally renowned facilities such as orchestras, recording studios and production companies.

The APM School is located in a 15th century Monastery, Monastero dell’Annunziata, in the heart of the medieval historical center of Saluzzo. The ground floor houses the Institute for Musical Heritage in Piedmont, one of the most important musicological research institutes in Europe, the first floor houses the Music and Theatre Department, the second floor the Technology Department, and the third floor houses a fully equipped guesthouse for the students’ accommodation.

Founded in 1966, Si-Yo Music Society Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational and cultural institution dedicated to inspiring a global community with classical music. Si-Yo is affiliated with international musicians whom it supports with performance and teaching opportunities as well as an instrument lending program. The Foundation has presented our Si-Yo Artists™ in concerts in the U.S., Asia, and Italy; it also presents educational programs to schoolchildren who have limited exposure to classical music, and community outreach events at senior residences and places of worship.

The Società dei Concerti di Trieste never forgets its roots. Founded in 1932, it keeps on focusing on great music and interpreters. It has hosted great conductors, such as Victor de Sabata and Herbert von Karajan, the pianists Alfred Cortot, Arthur Rubinstein, Wilhelm Backhaus, Walter Gieseking, Claudio Arrau, Edwin Fischer, Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Vladimir Horowitz and many others.
Today, the Società keeps on promoting the culture of classical music through inaugural lecture, projects dedicated to the youngsters and courses of music history.

The present-day Società del Quartetto is the product of an evolution that was initiated in 1864 by Arrigo Boito and Tito Ricordi, to “encourage and disseminate devotion to good music through public and private concerts, especially in the Quartet and Symphonic genres.”

This evolution has been innovative yet attentive to tradition, aware of having to adjust to the changed context in which it now has to function.
With respect to tradition, the Quartetto has preserved the excellence of its performers: a quick glance at the musicians who have been our guests during the first part of the new millennium confirms that they are among the few heirs of the legendary von Bülow, Rubinstein, Busoni, Paderewski, Rachmaninoff, Schnabel, Horowitz, Backhaus, Cortot, Gieseking, Serkin, Lipatti, Joachim, Milstein, Heifetz, Casals, Toscanini, Richard Strauss and the many others named in our archives.
The City of Milan has recognized these efforts by conferring the Ambrogino d’oro, the city’s greatest honour, on the Quartetto.

The Società del Quartetto di Vicenza is a not-for-profit association organising and promoting concert seasons, festivals and music events. 
The history of the association started in 1910, when the writer Antonio Fogazzaro put together a group of people passionate of music so to create a music association in Vicenza.
Since then, the association has transformed from a group of bourgeois and aristocrats into an association whose activities are open to a wider and wider audience.

Today, the concerts are attended by 20 000 spectators, very different in their age, education, and so on. This is also due to their wide music offer that ranges from classical to popular music.

The String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam is the world’s biggest string quartet festival. Every two years, the String Quartet Biennale puts the string quartet in the centre of world wide attention in the Amsterdam Muziekgebouw. The B & M Theocharakis Foundation, founded by Presidential decree in 2004, is primarily concerned with music and fine arts, both in Greece and internationally, with a focus on the emergence of the Modern and its continued development over the 20th and the 21st century.
The Foundation aims to encourage the public to enter into a wide-range and interdisciplinary dialogue with music and visual arts, to promote the work of Greek artists abroad, to employ every means at its disposal to disseminate the content of its activities, and to develop networks facilitating collaboration and exchange.
The Foundation, situated opposite the Hellenic Parliament in the cultural, political and commercial heart of Athens, seeks to achieve its aims by organizing periodical exhibitions, concerts, lectures, seminars and other activities aiming to engage and educate audiences, promote artistic expression and advance civilization. It also sponsors educational and academic research, along with programs and studies of relevance to its aims.
The Foundation is playing a leading role in educating younger visitors, as it places special emphasis on educational programs in order to familiarize younger visitors with music the fine arts and various artistic forms, cultivate their aesthetic sensibilities, and make them feel at ease in a museum context, promoting the idea of a sustainable relationship with the arts.

TICINO MUSICA Festival is an international meeting of young musicians where hundreds of musicians and singers from more than thirty countries participate every year.
The idea and purpose of this cultural event is to preserve and to convey musical traditions to the new generations. It is a meeting point where young musicians have the opportunity, through study and practice with internationally renowned artists, to broaden their cultural perspective and deepen their artistic experience, as a preparation for their professional life.

The Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival is a celebration of the history and musical heritage of the city of Lucca. Within its walls famous composers such as Puccini, Boccherini, Geminiani were born, along with many others. Lucca is also the town where Paganini became Paganini.
The Festival seeks to revive this unique tradition through the collaboration of established international artists and teachers with young musicians from all over the world. It will be an intense two-week program filled with lessons, masterclasses, workshops, conferences, and concerts, all dedicated, primarily, to the classic and early romantic repertoire.
