ARCHIPELAGO

ARCHIPELAGO is the concerts series, started in 2019, organized by Le Dimore del Quartetto in partnership with Gioventù Musicale d’Italia, Accademia Walter Stauffer and Fondazione Giorgio Cini.

Archipelago is a concerts series that in each concert sees the participation of a string quartet and a soloist , selected among the most talented young musicians of the international classical music landscape. They perform together for the first time on the stage of Auditorium “Lo Squero” on Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, after a short period of residence and study under the supervision of M° Giancarlo di Vacri. The poetic view on the Venetian lagoon is an inspiration for the artists and for the audience who experiences the pleasure to live the extraordinary result of the artistic entente developed during those days.

Archipelago offers musicians new encounters opportunities and the possibility to experiment original repertoires of ensemble music, that bring together soloists and quartets.
