MONTHLY PLAYLIST

TRIO IMMERSIO

Trio Immersio Photo 1_Copyright Julia Wesely (1)
The playlist that we present for this month sees three women as the protagonists. Violin and piano come from Georgia and Ukraine, the cello from the Netherlands, their meeting point is Vienna.
It is always fascinating, when talking about musicians, seeing how geographical boundaries don’t exist and how the world can transform in a big stage. The Trio Immersio, of this stage, has already trod many parts. The tracks that the Trio presents are extracted from their CD “3”: Haydn, Brahms, Schubert and a contemporary Austrian composer, Gander. During the performance, it is nice to perceive how the Viennese studies have influenced the personality of the performers, sublimating musicality of different places and cultures in a compact and convincing ensemble, capable of overcoming the lights and shadows of these great masterpieces without ever losing their substance.
Have a good listening!

PREMIO PAOLO BORCIANI 2021

SEVEN QUARTETS OF OUR NETWORK HAVE BEEN SELECTED

Collage_Borciani_low
The International Competition for String Quartets “Premio Paolo Borciani”, which will be held on June 5th-13th in Reggio Emilia (Italy) has announced the twelve string quartets selected for this year edition.
Seven of the selected quartets are part of Le Dimore del Quartetto’s network and we are very proud of it. Support young musicians is our big mission and to know that they are involved in international activities such as the Competition dedicated to the first violin of Quartetto Italiano, Paolo Borciani, makes us extremely happy.
We wish the best of luck to Quatuor Agate, Chaos String Quartet, Quatuor Elmire, Javus Quartet,
Karski Quartet, Leonkoro Quartet
and Quatuor Mona!

NEMANJA STANKOVIĆ

dimore quartetto nemanja_ (1)
Nemanja Stanković is an extraordinary Serbian cellist: his last CD has been voted among the 5 best records of 2020 by the Violoncello Foundation of New York.
Francesca Moncada, founder of Le Dimore del Quartetto, has supported the artist at the beginning of his career. The access to high quality instruments is one of the biggest hurdles to overcome for young and promising musicians, without an adequate instrument the transition between training and career slows down and can even stop.

CASA LAJOLO'S GARDEN IN THE “VILLE&CASALI” MAGAZINE

villecasali-rivista
The magazine “Ville&Casali” has intercepted our newsletter dedicated to the Historic Houses's gardens.
The article, which was published in the special edition “Giardini”, tells the exeptional beauty of the green area that surrounds the eighteenth-century mansion located in Piossasco, in the province of Turin.
Every year, Casa Lajolo organizes “La festa degli Orti” with the goal to raise public awareness on issues related to the earth and its production with an eye on sustainability and the environment.
For this spring, the celebration will occur in digital version, through interactive contents on the facebook and instagram pages of the dimora, while the event in Piossasco will be organized in September.
You can learn more about this in the “Ville&Casali” April paper edition or in digital edition, as well as through our portfolio of Casa Lajolo on our website.
