LE DIMORE DEL QUARTETTO COLLABORATES WHIT THE
STRING QUARTET BIENNALE AMSTERDAM

muzikgebou
Le Dimore del Quartetto has established a new partnership with The String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam, the world’s biggest string quartet festival.
Every two years, the SQBA puts the string quartet in the centre of worldwide attention in the Amsterdam Muziekgebouw.
The collaboration started within the MUSA – European young MUsicians soft Skills Alliance project which sees SQBA as a supporter in the quartets recruitment phases and in the diffusion of the results of the project.
The cooperation between String Quartet Biennale Amsterdam and Le Dimore del Quartetto is mainly focused on the realization of European projects built on the basis of common ideals and on the other complementary tools of both realities.

MONTHLY PLAYLIST

LISTEN TO ESMÉ QUARTET

Dimore_Quartetto_Esmé
The playlists of Le Dimore’s ensemble continue. This time we offer you 10 pieces suggested by Esmé Quartet, a group formed by four talented Korean musicians, who trained between the United States and Germany with a fundamental period of study with Heime Müller, violinist founder of the Artemis Quartet.
Esmé Quartet combines a splendid purity of tone to a technical precision and formal clarity which leaves admired.
Their playlist alternates pieces of Beethoven, Bridge and Chin (an important Korean contemporary composer). A journey through fascinating and contrasting worlds. An encounter among different cultures, sometimes distant but united by the shared musical language of classical music.
A journey that, I am sure, you won’t forget.

SUGGEST A HOUSE IN MUNICH

dimore quartetto mappa monaco 3
We are looking for an Historic House in Munich, Germany. If you know someone living in the hometown of Richard Strauss, who could be interested in supporting young musicians hosting them in exchange for a concert, you could talk him/her about us, thus becoming one of our Ambassadors.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

After a long closure, the Auditorium “Lo Squero” reopens with a new concert season organized in collaboration with Asolo Musica, Associazione Amici della Musica and Le Dimore del Quartetto, which propose a second series of concerts of Archipelago dedicated to the most interesting young promises of classical music from all over the world with the support of the Fondazione Gioventù musicale d’Italia and of Fondazione Walter Stauffer.
