SEPTEMBER 15, 2021 | PIAZZA BELGIOIOSO
More than a commemoration, a starting point
We have come to the last appointment of the itinerary of concerts and conversations organized by Le Dimore del Quartetto with the support of Fondazione Brivio Sforza to turn the spotlight on the extraordinary life of Cristina Trivulzio di Belgiojoso.
A path of words and music, who unveils the history and the personality of this heroine of the Italian Risorgimento - patriot, journalist, publisher, entrepreneur, traveler – throughout her life she challenged conventions, exercising her freedom in a world that recognized these virtues only to men - and at the same time initiates a reflection on the value attributed by society to the participation of women in the development of the Country.
Finally on September 15th an exceptional milestone will be achieved: the first statue in Milan dedicated to a woman will be installed. A crucial moment and a starting point for a broader and shared recognition on women action in history.

Archipelago is a concerts series that in each concert sees the participation of a string quartet and a soloist, selected among the most talented young musicians of the international classical music landscape. They perform together for the first time on the stage of Auditorium “Lo Squero” on Isola di San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, after a short period of residence and study under the supervision of M° Giancarlo di Vacri. The poetic view on the Venetian lagoon is an inspiration for the artists and for the audience who experiences the pleasure to live the extraordinary result of the artistic entente developed during those days.
Archipelago offers musicians new encounters opportunities and the possibility to experiment original repertoires of ensemble music, that bring together soloists and quartets.
