curated by Simone Gramaglia and Chiara Lijoi

The Giorgio Cini Foundation has hosted the first online format in live streaming signed by Le Dimore del Quartetto, and it has now come to an end. The idea was born within the Archipelago project, the concert season organized in Venice at the Auditorium Lo Squero, in collaboration with Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Jeunesses Musicales Italia and Fondazione Walter Stauffer.

If you want to get to the next concerts better prepared, here are the listening and reading playlists proposed in the three events dedicated to discovering the history of the String Quartet, from its origins to the present day.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS 2020

In collaboration with The Artist Partners
Dimore_Quartetto_QIndaco
For summer, Le Dimore del Quartetto in collaboration with The Artist Partners, proposes its training tool "La Musica si fa in 4" aimed for the youngest (between 4 and 11 years old).
This path introduces the topic of teamwork thanks to the direct involvement of a professional String Quartet. The experience is divided into 5 modules with different focuses: the value of the individual, responsibility and trust, concentration and consistency, creativity and dynamism, collaboration and integration.

During the workshop:
- participants will approach the language of music through live musical performances;
- they will understand how to listen to classical music in an unconventional context;
- they will be provided useful tools to get to know each other better as individuals and as part of a social group, and being taught about collaboration, mutual listening, respect and trust.
Contact us at info@ledimoredelquartetto.eu to find out more about the summer workshops and the training projects with Art and Music in collaboration with TAP

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT US

"[...] I am admired for the ideas you have, for the intelligence and imagination with which you have faced a situation that is certainly not favorable to public musical events. We will see what will happen this summer, but in the meantime the idea of promoting the Houses' products works: I ordered 18 bottles of wine by Podere Marella and I discovered an excellent red wine, produced by kind, punctual, precise people. I enjoyed it so much that today I have reordered 36 bottles that will be sent to my nephew in Oxford. [...]"

LORENZO ENRIQUES, Villa Totti, april 2020
"C’est un véritable plaisir que de lire votre newsletter. Et en ces temps confinés cela nous permet de voyager. Grands bravos à votre équipe pour tout."

FABIENNE MASONI, ProQuartet, may 2020
"Ayer vimos también el último capítulo de la serie sobre el cuarteto. Muy interesante! Especialmente conocer quiénes fueron esos cuartetos más relevantes del siglo XX: Busch, etc..
Algunos, no los conocía. El profesor de filosofía también nos gustó mucho!"

CARMEN MAYO, dir. art. Monteleon Festival Internacional de Musica da Camara, may 2020
"[Il Quartetto, Questo Sconosciuto] was a very important moment, too bad it did not last long: above all the third part perhaps deserved a follow-up! Chiara was very good, who smilingly proposes tough arguments ... [...] I am therefore waiting for some other initiative, waiting to see you / listen to you again."
