MAISON DE MONACO

PARIS

The Monaco Foundation officially opened in 1937, comprising 78 rooms. Designed by architect Julien Médecin, who had risen to fame at the Decorative Arts Exhibition, it is managed by the Fondation Nationale, Cité Internationale universitaire de Paris.

Set in a twelfth century as a fortified farm, this house was once intended as a Lombard fortress to guard the fertile Arno Valley around Florence.

​Built in the 1800s, its architectural elements are typical of an architectural language which rearranges, varies and contaminates neoclassical stylistic features into a new regular and measured arrangement.

SPOLETO (PG)

Located in a 16th century building in the city centre of Spoleto, it has been home of composer Gian Carlo Menotti. Since 2011 it has become available all year long, open to the public free of charge.

VILLA PASSONOVO

ORVIETO (TR)

The owners acquired the land of this property in the 40s, just before the beginning of the World War II, with the aim of building a country estate to enjoy, while looking after the agricultural business.

ALESSANO (LE)

Built in the late fifteenth century by the will of the Counts “del Balzo”, under the Gonzaga family it experienced a real cultural renaissance, becoming the largest and most prestigious property of the southern Salento, and seat of the bishopric.
